Bushnell Golf Pinseeker 1500 Tournament Edition Laser Rangefinder, was released on 2005-06-15, is made by Bushnell, Usually ships in 24 hours. The list price is around US$399.95. (*The prices are subject to change) Street price is around $345.00.
I've used this product for a few weeks and it works great! It can easily pick up a flagstick at over 300 yds. As mentioned in some of the other reviews, the less expensive range finders have difficulty in acquiring the flag (unless the wind is blowing). I tried one last year and took it back because it was basically useless. The 1500 performs exactly as advertised.

Bushnell Yardage Pro Tour XL Laser Rangefinder, is made by Bushnell. The list price is around US$299.99.
My new Bushnell range finder is a super investment and does everything I need very well. An earlier review referenced a battery problem when put in the case, the case presses the "on" button and runs the battery down. I had this problem but fixed it by glueing a garden hose washer (just exactly the right size) around the button, this keeps anything but my finger away. my problem is solved

Bushnell Yardage Pro 1000 Laser Rangefinder, is made by Bushnell. The list price is around US$549.99.
I purchase this instrument twice. The first time there were black specks in the lense, so it was returned. The second time was worst, i.e. same black specs but the thing didn't work at all. I have also checked this manufacturer's other models out and most come with the disturbing black specks in the lense. This isn't a quality optical product.

Bushnell Yardage Pro Quest 8x36 Laser Rangefinder Binocular w/Case, is made by Bushnell. The list price is around US$785.99.
I would highly recommend these. They are the clearest 8 power binoculars I have used and the rangefinder is accurate.

Nikon Laser Caddy Rangefinder 500G, is made by Nikon. The list price is around US$474.95.
I found this range finder extremely difficult to hold steady and thus was unable to sight in on the target effectively. In addition, there are trees and bushes behind almost all of the greens on the courses that I play on, and as a result I rarely got an accurate distance.

Bushnell Yardage Pro Legend Waterproof Rangefinder, is made by Bushnell, Usually ships in 24 hours. The list price is around US$521.95. (*The prices are subject to change) Street price is around $324.32.
The Bushnell Yardage Pro Legend is the waterproof version of the Scout. It is a solid feeling unit with excellent sensitivity. I was able to range on a pencil-sized twig at 60yds. and a 6" fence post at 250yds. IN THE OPEN. Unfortunately, this sensitivity seems to be a disadvantage in the woods! I could not get a reading on a 16" tree at 50yds. because there were some unseen (by me) twigs between me and the tree. The zip mode only works for >150yds. and in fairly open terrain. I will be returning this unit. The Nikon 400 works better in the woods.

Bushnell Yardage Pro Scout Laser Rangefinder, is made by Bushnell. The list price is around US$515.99.
Item arrived quickly, but I was disappointed with its usage. It was fine for measuring to a sand trap or people on the green but I could seldom get range to the flag. I am going to return the item and pay more for a better one.

Nikon 440 ProStaff Laser Range Finder, is made by Nikon. The list price is around US$312.95.
Not to happy with product wanted it for golf to find the distance to the flag stick but this range finder can not pick out the stick and always picks up a bigger object behind the flag.the only way it works is if there are people on the green and then i can scope the person on the green and get my yardage.I would not have gotten it if i knew this would happen
