Pepper Pad Internet Media Player, was released on 2005-06-28, is made by Pepper Computers Inc.. The list price is around US$849.99.
I bought my pad 1 month ago. I thought before I got it that a laptop and a treo phone were all I would ever need. But then after owning the pad I am ready to chuck the treo for a small phone and my laptop well its too big for real portablitly around the house and town. Plus my laptop is way too fragile...cant tell you how many times I have hit a door with its. Once needed a new screen! The Pad has done way more for me then I ever expected it to and I would highly reccomend it to anyone looking for an all in one device that can change the way they comute and work. Currently I have got music on my pad and videos....that was a no brainer and works as one would expect. What it also does is allow me to control all my remote control devices around my house. Its simple setup allows me to have full tv control in my my three rooms that have entertainment systems in it. Not only does it control the devices, but I swear its respose time just flipping channels on cable is faster than the actual cable remote. I also us...

Palm Tungsten E2 Handheld, is made by Palm, Usually ships in 24 hours. The list price is around US$199.99. (*The prices are subject to change) Street price is around $191.94.
I've been forced to switch from the tried and true Sony Clie' I bought more than 5 years ago to a Palm, due to a software compatibility issue. Not having a keyboard incorporated into the device slows things down tremendlously and forces me to use both hands to enter grafiti. The Palm is chunky and awkward to hold compared to the elegant design of the Clie'.

HP iPAQ hx2755 Pocket PC, is made by Hewlett Packard Office. The list price is around US$499.99.
This is the third PDA I've owned and couldn't be happier with my choice. My first one was a Zire 73. Never coldnt manage it. SEcond one was an IPAQ 2410. Supreme. but a needed more memory and faster processor

HP IPAQ 2755 got everything I need.

I,m using a 512 MB FC for aditional programs and a 2 GB SD card for my data. and is very amazing all the info, music pictures an information you can carry on your pocket.

Also a had installed lots of programs from resco....like Radio, Music players, all you can imagine, and this device manage them so fast and well that you cant believe it.

Since I have it i got my office in my pocket.

Also with WIFI you can send and receive emails, sailing on internet and chating trought MSN

The battery lasts a decent amount of time. But you have to be carefull cause the battery drain using WIFI or Blue tooth... but its not a big problem if you turn off the Bluetooth and WiFi feature when you turn it off, and buy a ...

PalmOne Zire 72 Special Edition Handheld Silver, was released on 2004-12-01, is made by Palm. The list price is around US$249.99.
I've had my Zire 72 for around a year and half and I love it. It does about anything I need in a PDA. I looked at others and found they lack some feature that the Zire 72 has like a built in speaker, camera or voice recorder.
The Good:
- Documents to Go: love this, I have read long docs on the plane when I had nothing else to do (while listening to music on the MP3 player)
- Voice Recorder: missing in many PDAs, Handy when driving and you need to take a note
- Built in speaker: Not great, but beats having to plug in earphones to hear your voice memos or check audio
- MP3 player: I use it for music and audio books
- Video Media player: I work in video production and have demo reel on my palm now. How cool is that!
- Camera: Ok, not great quality, but has been good for documenting things and location scouts
- Great color screen: I had a mono Palm VII before
- SD slot: Great for storing tons of MP3 files

The bad:
- Can't replace battery yourself...

PalmOne Tungsten T5 Handheld, is made by Palm. The list price is around US$349.99.
I bought my T5 in October 2004 as a birthday present to me. I had a IIIxe which worked great (before that a PalmPilot Pro). I didn't NEED the T5 but I sure wanted it and I loved it. It was my portable mini-laptop. With the wifi card I checked my business email at hotspots (and did light web browsing). With the fold-up keyboard I created and modified Word and Excel documents. With software upgrades I used Brainforest outliner and J-File database. With bluetooth I did wireless hotsyncs with my PowerBook and Palm Desktop. I also added addresses via bluetooth to my Motorola V551 phone. I bought the 512MB memory card for backup and storage of large document. And, it was fun having photos, music and teleseminars I could listen to via earphones. Everything worked like it should, I was happy and life was good. Then, after 14 months, it died. Lucky for me I'd bought the extended warranty. Palm exchanged my unit with a refurbished one (their right under the warranty). Everything transferred over and li...

HP iPAQ HX4705 Pocket PC, was released on 2004-09-30, is made by Hewlett Packard. The list price is around US$599.99.
I've had one for 9 months and it's a great PDA, albeit a bit power hungry for the battery shipped. Love the screen.

But it's fragile, and when mine broke HP claimed I'd opened the case voiding the warranty (i hadn't ?!?), and wanted 270 bucks.

I don't know anyone who still has one. Shame, it was a great PDA. I've heard they're discontinued now. But you can't spend this kind of money for something that won't even make it a year.

PalmOne Tungsten E Handheld, is made by Palm. The list price is around US$121.99.
Palm E is not match for Palm T5, nor Palm TX. It lack of Wifi, and it's older version Palm OS System, comparingly. But, it's features with mp3 player, high resolution of picture, and plenty of educational programs that can be installed in, makes it favourable to eductation, especially for kids.
My 5 years and 9 years siblings are using it and enjoying listening to music and viewing pictures on it,also, with some games.

Garmin iQue 3600 PDA/GPS Handheld System with Americas Detailed Street Mapping, is made by Garmin. The list price is around US$589.99.
Had this as my travel buddy for many years but now like the Nuvi 660 far better since I no use for the other palm functions.

It drove me batty many times trying to update maps etc but after hours of patience it always got back to working.

When the unit seems "dead" - be sure charged up or on AC power and do a hard reset. This often brings it back from the dead.
