JVC RC-EX36S Portable Boombox with CD Player, Cassette Deck, and AM/FM Tuner (Silver) from JVC. The list price is around US$69.99.
I was looking for a boombox that could play mp3s and had a good radio. This boombox fit the bill. Mp3s play great, and the radio is nice! There is even a clock as a bonus. I would recomend this boombox to anyone!

Coby CX-CD248 Portable Boombox with CD Player, Cassette Deck, and AM/FM Tuner from Coby, Usually ships in 24 hours. (*The prices are subject to change) Street price is around $29.80.
I bought this item for my baby grandaughter's room so my daughter could play CDs and cassettes at night when she went to bed. The CD player never worked and now I can send it back but I have to pay for shipping both ways which is going to be about $15.00 because the company doesn't reimburse you for shipping. I am very disappointed and even if I did send it back, there may be a good chance of it happening again. The product is very tinny and not good sound quality . I will not be buying from this company again. I will sell this at a yard sale. JUNK!!

Panasonic RX-D27 Boombox with CD Player, AM/FM Tuner, and Cassette Deck from Panasonic. The list price is around US$59.99.
I have had this for about a half a year now and I love it. I love the sound quality, the ease with the remote and the sturdiness of it. The one annoying glitch is this: If I listen to a CD while I'm falling asleep, the machine does not rest quietly when it is done playing. It almost sounds like the speaker shorts out until I turn the thing off or begin the CD again. All in all, though, it is a good machine.

Sony CFD-S350 CD/Cassette Portable Boombox (Silver) from Sony, Usually ships in 24 hours. The list price is around US$99.99. (*The prices are subject to change) Street price is around $59.95.
Worked ok for a while, sounds average. Problem is the CD door broke off its hinge and now I can't play CDs as it needs to be tightly closed to play a CD. This was not unusual usage either, the door is poorly made.

Sony ZSSN10PS PSYC CD Boombox (Black) from Sony. The list price is around US$119.95.
I purchased this so that I could take it to the picnic table down by the lake and listen to mp3 discs. Works perfectly for this. I'm happy with the sound and operation.

JVC RC-EX16B Portable Boombox with CD Player, Cassette Deck, and AM/FM Tuner (Black) from JVC. The list price is around US$49.99.
The only problem I have is that I sometimes have problems getting the lid on the cd compartment to stay closed. Overall, it is a nice looking unit and works well, given the price.

Sony CFD-G500 CD Radio Cassette Recorder Boombox (Black) from Sony. The list price is around US$139.99.
Despite it's bulky, clunky look this boombox delivers surprisingly crisp sound clarity and 'boomy' depth. I chose it because it featured an audio input(hard to find on moderately priced boomboxes), which I use for satellite radio and it has the wattage to deliver the goods.

The Panasonic Boombox sounds great. The only feature missing is the resume where left off when using the mp3 CD.
