USE THE PRODUCT ALL THE TIME AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH IT, THE SHIPMENT WAS ON TIME.

If you have a crappy stereo unit and are used to poor sounding audio, then this unit is for you. This is a poorly designed unit which takes a digital signal from space and turns it into the quality of a scratched LP record. If you have a high-end stereo system, you will not be happy with how this sounds at all.

Delphi SA10046 SKYFi Marine Kit for SKYFi XM Satellite Radio Receivers, is made by Delphi. The list price is around US$199.95.
Kit was easy to install. Especially liked the white antenna (looks like the old Loran antennas) which came complete with a white ratchet-mount. I hard-wired the power supply rather than plug it into a cigarette lighter. Use it on my flybridge to play through my FM radio. BONUS!...Because my TV/radio antenna is up there, it picks-up the FM signal and plays XM throughout the boat on my saloon entertainment system. Cool! No need for multiple XM accounts.

Firstly, I love XM. I have both the home and car kits and will probably purchase the boom-box at some point down the road. I have a complaint however, about the quality of the cords that come with both adaptor kits. Several reviewers of the home kit pointed out that you are obliged to invest in a good quality shielded cable to make the connection between the cradle and your home stereo, otherwise you will be plagued with buzz. I certainly found this to be true and to be unique to the SkyFi. The other components connected to my stereo system are not connected with anything other than basic, came-in-the-box quality cords. The SkyFi was the only add-on that required a high-quality shielded cable. The situation with the car kit is much the same. Huge amounts of engine noise are picked up by the cable, including a wild squeal if I start the car with the XM system already playing, and it needs to be replaced for the system to be usable. If you've ever needed an adjustable arm to mount a pda, satellite radio, or mp3 player in your car, the Arkon SR-88 is a fantastic buy. Under $15!!
Includes 2 mounts. One mount allows you to bolt the arm to your seat bolt both horizontal and vertical. The 2nd mount allows you bolt the arm to almost anything else.
The arm itself is flexible, but VERY stiff. Which is good for car applications. Using the arm for a while now, it's never needed to be re-adjusted.

Delphi SA10102 SKYFi2 Vehicle Adapter Kit, is made by Delphi. The list price is around US$49.99.
This car adapter kit works well, the sound quality is good, and I'm very happy I was able to get one. Only complaint is that I wish they came with more pad to stick it to your dashboard (they can melt in the hot sun and cause the holder to come off of your dashboard)
