Garmin nüvi 650 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator from Garmin. The list price is around US$749.99.
The GPS has worked extremely well for me since purchasing it in June 2008. Recently the battery will not hold a recharge. I followed Garmin advice and completely discharged the device and recharged it. The new charge lasted for about 5 minutes. I was then advised to send the GPS in for a battery replacement for $99. I would have expected a battery to last longer that 21 months.

Garmin nüvi 200W 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator from Garmin. The list price is around US$535.70.
This product worked great when I first purchased it, but right around the 1 year mark it stopped acquiring the satellites reliable. Sometimes it would take up to 20 minutes before it would acquire them, and occasionally it wouldn't acquire them at all. In my opinion, working only 1 year before beginning to fail is unacceptable. Without the ability the acquire the signal, this product is useless. Would not buy again.

Garmin nüvi 260 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator from Garmin. The list price is around US$482.13.
My first GPS unit was a TomTom One and I really liked it. Not everything about it was perfect, but it was very easy to use. Well, it got stolen and my brother happen to be moving overseas so he gave me his Garmin Nuvi 260.
In my opinion, it's not very intuitive. I recently used it on a trip cross country. I would program in our destination, let the device program our route which was pretty much I-40 west the entire way, and look to see our approximate arrival time. Instead of leaving the device plugged in because it already had a full battery charge, I would shut off the device. After a few hours of driving, I'd turn the device back on to find out how much further we had to travel and it would lose the programmed destination every time even though the battery still showed a full charge. So I'd either have to leave the device on or reprogram the destination each and every time. My TomTom One would keep the route stored until I cleared it out. 1 star

Garmin nuvi 200 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator from Garmin. The list price is around US$419.98.
First of all, understand this is the entry level model in the product line. Understanding that, I would recommend this unit to anyone. I've used many vehicle GPS systems in rental cars, etc, that cost much more and this unit is at worst better than those. I live in the Denver metro area where I use it primarily, but I've also taken it with me on business trips to Los Angeles, Portland, Pheonix and Buffalo and it worked perfectly in all those cities. Surprisingly, it often does well in rural areas in the Colorado mountains where I travel frequently. Sometimes even 4WD roads actually display on this thing! Conversely, there have been some instances where the maps are not updated in suburban areas in the Denver metro area and won't show neighborhoods that have existed for over 5 years. It will show me driving in an open space though I'm on a paved street with houses all around. This is rare though. While the spoken directions don't include the actual street names, I really don't understand why this is ...

It is a nice little model. Very useful on road trips. A little dated now but still gets the job done. Better then spending 2k+ on in dash.

Garmin nüvi 350 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator from Garmin. The list price is around US$329.99.
My GPS has been the best money I've ever spent. When you print out an online map, you're distracted by reading it and when you miss your turn, you're stuck like Chuck to find your way back. This talks to you as well as giving you the option to glance down and read the instruction. If you're like me, then you've rushed out of your office to a meeting and realized once you're on the road that you left your online map directions on your desk. With a GPS, you don't have to worry about it. It takes a couple of minutes to find a signal sometimes. This model also gives you other options like avoiding tollroads, traffic, highways, etc. (I hate toll roads!) You can also save locations you go to often. So once you're ready to leave your current location, you can just hit, "home" or "work" without putting the address every time.

Xbox 360 Core Console [Old Version], was released on 2005-11-15 from Microsoft. The list price is around US$199.99.
3 choices for the next generation game consoles:
1) XBox 360
2) PlayStation 3
3) Nintendo Wii
For hardcore gamers, it probably be either XBox 360 or PS3, for everyone else Wii is the way to go.
I'm not a big fan of console games, most of my games are PC based. At one point, they had better graphics than any console games. I'm not sure that's true anymore. Not to mention that a good PC based game system is more expensive than any console on the market (even the new PS3).
So I was thinking about buying a console. Before, I thought it would be either PS3 or XBox 360, because I thought Nintendo was only for kids. But after seeing their innovative Wii controls, I'm totally impressed. They did it this time. The most impressive roll out for a video game console. Even complaints like
broken plasma TV sounds more positive th...
