LED Lighting I've been using LED light in my flash for a while. My computer was also lighted up by LED and so is my watch. They were the best light source I've seen. It was bright, long lasting and energy efficient. A flash powered by a single AA battery is bright enough for me to hike at night. Imagine what they could do in our home? They are the best solution to green house effect (imagine how much energy we waste in our regular lighting). I've been wondering a long time: why didn't they put LED in home lighting? Then I read the CNet's article about LED Lighting. Wow, finally, somebody was doing that now. It was about time. It's not a new technology. They have been using LED for ages. What take them so long to replace regular light bulb with LED? Submitted by Reviewer (not verified) on 20 August, 2006 - 14:31.

The most reliable computer is one who die when you expect it to die, not one that gives you nasty surprises Submitted by zen on 20 August, 2006 - 11:48.
A quiet computer costs a lot of money, it's even more expensive than a powerful computer. Submitted by zen on 20 August, 2006 - 11:48.
If you want to buy a cheap but powerful computer, you might want to consider buying the cheapest one advertised but keep doing it for every year. Submitted by zen on 20 August, 2006 - 11:32.
The Sonata II case is guiet and practical, but the quality is so so. That's the conlusion I got about a week ago when my Anitec True Power Supply finally died. I search through the net, it doesn't seem to be an isolated incident. Many people shared my experience. The power supply work ed for a while , like a year or two and then it died. Even the no name generic power supply last longer than that. The problem may be related to the capacitors. Many of those "Made in China" capacitors have quality problem. So there are some power supply manufacturer try to use the "Japanese capactors". I bought a new power supply, Seasonic HS500. Unfortunately, it's the older version still using the Chinese capacitors. The problem for them is they don't die right away, they die slowly, but surely... Well, the good news is, changing the power supply is much easier than I thought...
