Having the GPS and Palm software together allows route planning that I have not seen in dedicated auto GPS units. The button/wheel on the left was broken - and if accidently touched, it would make the screen go crazy...jumping very fast from one icon to another. I am very disappointed and would like to return it, but the buyer said returns only for 1 week. If something is broken, the seller should say so in the ad. This is the first time I have ever bought anything used online, and it will be my last. I use it everyday so if I had to say anything bad about it is that it doesn't last forever. The screen on my last one broke.
But the things is packed with features that I don't think are available on any other PDA.
First the GPS system is superb. If you add a 2gb SD card you can have every street in the US or the EU at your fingertips. I just came back from a 2000 mile drive in Europe and this thing provided turn by turn directions perfectly.
The Palm PDA works great too. You can add any of the thousands of apps if you want. I hve my whole life on it.
Too bad they aren't making it anymore. If anybody knows of any equivalent I'd like to hear about it. |
