Reviews:| Rating 4.0/5 from 28 reviews | | Great for taking minutes | | Rating: 5/5 2010-07-29 | | I used this machine for years to take minutes of business meetings and it was used when it was handed over to me. I used it for ten years before it gave out. When researching a replacement, I could not have been happier when I found this same brand and model available. I am not tech savvy but I can adjust the speed of the tape, the tone and volume and voice speed. I do not use the foot pedal to pause, rather I use the pause button. There may be as many as 15 people in the room and I sit near the center of one of 4 long tables (2 long tables butted together adjoined to 2 across). This easily picks up everybody's voices. This has enabled me to record our minutes far easier than I could do by hand or with just a standard tape recorder. | | Microcassette Recorder | | Rating: 5/5 2009-11-14 | | I have used this type of machine in the past and it works very well for me. | | headphone jack broke on two identical models | | Rating: 2/5 2009-11-12 | | I have heard the high pitch squeals other reviewers mentioned when using the foot pedal, but I am only hearing it on the left side, since the headphone jack on both of my machines seems to have broken. | | Excellent product | | Rating: 5/5 2009-10-24 | | Even though this product has been around for years and it is being replaced with new technology, it is still a great product. Easy to use.... | | Machine works fine foot pedal another story. | | Rating: 2/5 (1 out of 1 think this is helpful) 2009-08-18 | I have had this machine just over 1 month and have been using it between 3-5 days a week, and it worked just fine.
This morning the foot pedal decided to rewind back to the beginning of the tape every time I let my foot off it. Playback works fine if I disconnect the foot pedal, but I have to manually press play and rewind.
The rewind works really well and doesn't require a lot of repeating phrases.
Called Panasonic customer support to request a new foot pedal and got hung up on. |
